Possible solutions to warnings and errors that may occur in GLUCUBE measurement
When taking a measurement with GLUCUBE device, various problems may occur due to incorrect use of the device.
If after taking the measurement a green screen does not appear showing a glucose value, this is because there has been an error during the measurement.
Warnings and errors are coded and will appear in the upper left part of the screen:
The different error categories that may appear are:
Category E1:
If this error code appears, follow these instructions:
- Press exit
- Restart the phone
- Turn on the device and repeat the measurement process
If the error persists, please contact Customer Service
Category E2
E2-1
This message may appear when starting a GLUCUBE measurement.
The possible causes for this error are:
- The maximum waiting time between turning on the device and inserting the finger has passed.
The solutions for this type of error are:
- Press cancel and repeat a measurement, this time making sure that no more than 10 seconds pass between turning on the device and inserting the finger.
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
E2-2
This message may appear during STEP 1 during the signal check step.
The possible causes for this error are:
- The finger was not in the correct position when preparing the measurement and therefore the measurement has not started.
The solutions for this type of error are:
- Take another measurement, making sure that the finger perfectly covers the window inside the device without applying pressure.
- Follow the instructions for use of the device and place your finger correctly
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
E2-3 ... E2-5
If this error code appears, follow these instructions:
- Press exit
- Restart the phone
- Turn on the device and repeat the measurement process
If the error persists, please contact Customer Service
Category E3
E3-1 ... E3-9
This message appears after having performed the GLUCUBE measurement.
The possible causes of this error are:
- Slight movements that have caused instability in the signal
- Forced breathing that may have caused instability in the signal
- Very cold hands that do not allow a correct signal to be detected
- Taking the measurement on an unstable surface
- Using nail polish or acrylic nails that may make it impossible to detect the signal
The solutions for this type of error are:
- Keep the hand as stable as possible, avoiding movements
- Avoid forced positions that prevent the correct flow of blood in the hand
- Take the measurement on a stable surface
- Breathe calmly, avoiding forcing breathing
- Make sure that the finger correctly covers the window and is in a correct position following the instructions for use of the device
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
E3-10
This message appears after having taken the GLUCUBE measurement.
The possible causes of this error are:
- Changes in the signal captured by the device compared to the previous measurement, which has affected the estimation of blood glucose levels.
The solutions for this type of error are:
- Perform a new measurement to obtain a more accurate result.
- Follow the instructions for use of the device and make sure that the finger correctly covers the window and is in a correct position.
If the error persists, please contact Customer Service.
E3-100
The possible causes for this error are:
- Communication failure with the cloud service
The solutions for this type of error are:
- Press “Exit” and turn the device back on to perform a measurement.
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
E3-101
The possible causes for this error are:
- Problems in data transmission and decompression
The solutions for this type of error are:
- Change the hardware configuration to "adaptive" mode from the "About the device" section
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
E3-102
The possible causes for this error are:
- Incomplete or incorrectly filled profile data
The solutions for this type of error are:
- Check the data in the "Adaptive" section of the "About the device" section
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
Category E4
E4-1 ... E4-3
If you see this error code, follow these instructions:
- Press exit
- Restart your phone
- Turn on the device and repeat the measurement process
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
E4-4
This message appears during GLUCUBE measurement.
The possible causes for this error are:
- Loss of coverage that prevents correct synchronization with the cloud
- Loss of internet connection that prevents correct synchronization with the cloud
- Check if you are in a place with adequate coverage
- Check if you have a connection good enough to be able to perform the measurement.
If you have a poor connection, you should look for a place with better connection quality and repeat the measurement
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service.
E4-5
This message appears during the GLUCUBE measurement.
The possible causes for this error are:
- Bluetooth disconnection from the device during measurement
- Device disconnection during measurement
- Check that the smartphone's Bluetooth is activated and that it does not turn off during measurement
- Check that the device is properly charged
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Service
